On the afternoon of July 17, 2025, our beloved Rosemarie passed away peacefully at the age of 86. The world feels quieter without her, but the echoes of her love and laughter still fill the hearts of those she cherished.
Rosemarie was more than a mother and grandmother—she was our guiding light, our safe place, our steady heart. She is very deeply missed by her daughter Heidi Holsten, her son Henry Holsten and his wife Lorrie, grandchildren Kendrick Holsten, Justin Kirschbaum and his wife Michelle and great-grandson Miles Kirschbaum.
She now reunites with her husband Hans, her parents Erika and Ernst Kaemmerling, her brother Lothar Kaemmerling, and her beautiful granddaughter Heather Kirschbaum, whose memories she carried close to her every day.
Born in Germany, Rosemarie’s journey through life was shaped by resilience, humility, and a quiet wisdom. After marrying Hans, she crossed continents with courage and grace to build a home in the United States—one that overflowed with love, tradition, and belonging.
She had an incredible gift for making the ordinary feel extraordinary. Whether it was stitching a dress, arranging flowers with delicate care, preparing meals that fed both body and soul, or offering a listening ear, Rosemarie brought a personal touch to everything she did. She loved animals like they were her family, and her home radiated warmth, comfort, and celebration.
Rosemarie’s legacy lies in the kindness she gave so effortlessly and the strength she carried so gracefully. She was the one person many turned to when they needed support, and somehow, even in the darkest moments, she managed to shine with optimism and compassion.
We love you Mom and Oma, please keep looking after all of us as you always have.
A private graveside service in her memory will be held at Bayview Memorial Park in Pensacola, Fl on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 11:30 AM. The family welcomes floral tributes, stories, and expressions of love to honor the extraordinary woman we were lucky to call ours.
