Russell David Mayrand, 77, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. Russell was born in Greenfield, Massachusetts on November 29, 1947 to Wilfred E. Mayrand and Celia Louise Purple.
As a young man, Russell joined the United States Air Force before being honorably discharged in 1969. Russell moved to Pensacola with his family in 1981. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shirley Mayrand; his daughter, Wanda Brown; grandchildren, Alan Callahan and Ronnie Callahan; four great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; and sister, Cheryl Dyer. Russell is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Wilfred, Robert and John; and his daughter, Katherine Callahan.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 24th at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel at 11:00 AM.
