1924-2014
Ruth Virginia Price, 90, passed away November 19, 2014.
She was born June 3, 1924, in Mobile, Alabama. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Price, her mother and father, William and Lillie Reed, and seven brothers and sisters.
Ruth was first and foremost a mother and homemaker. She was known for her quick wit and "telling it like it is" with no sugar coating. She enjoyed her visits from family and friends. She loved working in her flower garden and in later years enjoyed looking from the windows at the flowers that her youngest daughter planted for her. She also enjoyed helping with canning vegetables for the annual fall festival at the Calvary Way Full Gospel Church.
She is survived by daughters, Teenie Wehmeier, Tammy Price, Patricia Perri and son Jerry Price; grandchildren; Angela Karalekas, Eddie Wehmeier, Michael Bouth; great-grand children; Breann, Trinity and C.J. Corrigan; Ethan and Isabella Wehmeier.
