

He has gone to meet his late wife, Diane Kay Mahoney.
Sam graduated from Escambia High School and went to college at Pensacola Jr College. He retired from US Army and retired from The US Post Office as a mail carrier in Navarre. Florida.
Sam loved watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune and Fox News and anything to do with Donald Trump. He loved watching NFL football games and college football games. The Army was his favorite team! He loved all sports. He enjoyed spending time at home with Nellie, his beloved caregiver and Chance, now deceased, and recently a new Shih Tzu named Auggie. He would also love telling his friends army stories.
We would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Baptist ICU unit especially Autumn and James. They were very caring nurses and kept him comfortable. We would also like to thank the nurses and doctors in the Baptist ER. Also, we would like to thank the doctors he has had in the past for taking good care of Sam.
Sam always had a saying when you ask him something, either it was ''I hear you’' or “ok".
Mr. Sam is survived by his Caregiver Nellie Daniel of 2 1/2 years, Auggie, his beloved dog and his dear friends Mark and Kimberly Garrasi and Mark. Judah and Jericho Garrasi. Also. his new friend. Dawna Miller AKA Shadow.
A private service for Sam will be held at a later date.
