Sandra Kimmons

She was born on Friday, October 18, 1946, to the late Gordon Keith Lawyer, Sr. and the late Theodora Barbara Shashek Lawyer.

Sandra lived in the Ardmore, AL community for the past six years, but prior to that she lived in Pensacola, FL for 63 years and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a strong testimony of her Heavenly Father and was a wonderful example to all of those that loved her.

In her free time, she enjoyed working in her garden and planting flowers, traveling to the mountains and waterfalls, sewing and making quilts, cooking for those she loved, family history and genealogy and being of service in any way that she could. The thing that brought her the most joy was spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents, one son, Baby Kimmons, as well as one grandson, Wesley Frazier.

Sandra is survived by two sons, Otis (Christy) Kimmons, Jr. and Keith (Renee) Kimmons, one daughter, Sheri (Jimmy) Frazier, one brother, Gordon (Michael) Lawyer, one sister, Shirley (Art) Macfarlane, 11 grandchildren, as well as 23 great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, techs, and respiratory therapist at Athens Limestone Hospital that took such great care of her in her final days.

A Visitation will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 9490 Foxrun Rd, Pensacola, FL 32514, US, on August 20, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 pm.
