Sarah Elsie Smith

Born in Wallace, FL to Mary Anne (Wise) and James Daniel Renfroe on September 18, 1924. She married Arthur A. Smith in 1942 and raised 5 children while working at Stones Studio 60 plus years alongside her sister Ruth Stone until 2009.

She loved fishing, dancing, music and sewing cross stitch, but mostly she loved being the best mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to the many she touched with her kindness, great advice and sense of humor.

She is survived by her children: Jim, John, Joe, Jeff and Rebecca (Becky) Smith. Her daughter-in-laws Jane, Teresa, Joan, and Cameron Smith and son-in-law Kenn Terry; her grandchildren: Christen, Jason, Jacob, Nora, Sara, Ashley and Katie; her step-grandchildren: Lenton, Cory, Trae, Paetra and Daxx; her great grandchildren: Jameson, Ella, Justin, Joshua, Jamie, Asher, Addison, Isabelle, Jackson, Dylanne, Aspen, Madison, and Jude; step-great grandchildren: Adley, Gentry, Eli, Lanie Kate, Lleyton, Ryder, Hadleigh.

Pallbearers will be Jim, John, Joe, Jeff Smith, Kenn Terry and David Stone.

Visitation will be held Friday April, 1st from 5-7 pm and funeral Saturday April 2nd at 11am at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Hwy, Pensacola, FL.
