Scott was born Aug. 19, 1958, in Salinas, Calif., and raised in Monterey County, Central Oregon and Albany, Ore. He briefly attended Oregon State University in Corvallis. He worked various jobs in Oregon before deciding to move to Arizona, where he worked in sales and real estate. After his younger son Nils’s tragic death from drinking contaminated water during a junior PGA golf tournament, Scott sought a change of scenery, moving to the Pensacola area and investing in real estate.
Scott is survived by his son, Micah Breshears of Lebanon, Ore.; his mother, Gretchen Bencene of Corvallis, Ore.; his father, Stanley H. Beeman Jr., also of Corvallis; his brother, Doug Beeman of Sacramento, Calif.; his sister Robin Eubanks, of Goldendale, Wash.
He will be buried next to his son Nils in Scottsdale, Ariz.
