Sharon Elizabeth Egee

Sharon Elizabeth Egee passed quietly on June 20, 2025. Sharon is a lifelong Pensacola resident. She was born on January 31, 1945 and is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Edward Egee; her mother and father, Elwood Lewis Holifield and Ethel Marie Bradley Grizzel; her brother, Clifton Holifield; son, Jerry Lamar Lewis; step-son, Shawn Egee and step-daughter, Donna Cecil.

Sharon will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and lifelong friend to many.

Sharon and Ed served many years in the Hadji Shrine, Antique Car Unit. They also served many years faithfully in the Pensacola Moose Lodge. Sharon made many friends over the years. She loved cooking hushpuppies, gumbo and fried fish at any gathering. She loved cards, music, dancing and enjoying time with family and friends.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Shelby (Kenneth) Barnes of Spanish Fort, AL; step-son, Steve (Robbie) Egee of Brewton, AL; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Homestead Village and Vitas Hospice Care for the care and compassion they have shown our mother over the last year. We are so thankful for you and all your support during this difficult season.
