Shirley Rebecca Heusohn

March 13, 1944 - January 16, 2024

Shirley Heusohn 79 of Pensacola Florida passed away on January 16, 2024. Shirley was a loving daughter sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Shirley met and married her soul mate James Heusohn in Pensacola. They raised four boys and they lived in numerous states from Florida to Oregon and enjoyed many adventures together. Shirley and Jimmy were happily married when he passed away in 1999. She remained devoted to him throughout the remainder of her life, and they have now been joyfully reunited. Shirley was the best mother a son could hope for and always stood by her boys through all of their trials and tribulations. She will be fondly remembered by all who were blessed to share a piece of life with her.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life James A.R. Heusohn, son Nick Heusohn, granddaughter Kiersten Heusohn (Daryl) and daughter in law Lori Heusohn (Steven) as well as her Mother, Father and four brothers, Gene, Cody, Bill and Paul. She is survived by sons J.R. (Carol), Daryl and Steven as well as grandchildren James and Jillian Heusohn (J.R. and Carol), great grandchildren Blake Cochran and Lyric Jones (Kiersten). When she was a young girl Shirley was adopted by Sam and Lil Cato and was blessed with many brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins as a part of this loving family as well. Much love and a special Thank You to Uncle Bo and Aunt Bev.

Arrangements have been made for a Memorial Reception to take place on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 619 New Warrington Rd, Pensacola, FL 32506. Friends and family members may stop by anytime from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm to enjoy coffee and light refreshments as we share special memories of Shirley.
