Brother Wetzel, it is with the DEEPEST sadness that I just found out about Sister Shirley passing.  On behalf of the Bayes family, you know that we send you our deepest love.

We are going to miss you Shirley. You are the sweetest woman we had as a friend.  We enjoyed our time we spent with you and Paul.  We are so blessed to have known you.  Some friends are like chocolate, sweet on the inside and out!  That is you!  I know you wouldn't want us to be sad because you died but smile because you lived! We are saddened at the news of Sister Wetzel's passing.  We met the Wetzel's many years ago in Warner Robbins, Ga when we sang at their church.  Sister Wetzel was a precious woman of God and she will be missed.

I remember her warm laugh and beautiful smile. She had a loving and generous spirit.

I very sad to hear the news of this precious Godly Woman's passing. Doyle and I reminisce over special songs she and Bro. Wetzel would sing. She was a prim example of a pastor's wife. She cared about everyone she met. I remember her baby sitting my oldest daughter Haley for a night and day while I was in the hospital having my son Jamie... I never saw her without that wonderful smile. She greeted everyone she meet with that smile... I can see my father inlaw ushering her through havings gates and they are having the time of their life. I pray for Bro. Wetzel, Mike, Tim, daughter in-laws and grandchildren.  I know you are hurting. I know you were blessed by having her in your lives.

So sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed hearing her play the organ.  she was such a blessing to RIVERVIEW ASSEMBLY OF GOD. God bless you all

The smile that Sister Shirley always had on her face was  a constant reminder that serving the Lord is a joyful experience and she enjoyed it to the fullest!

Mike, Karen, Bro Wetzel and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Sis Shirley was such a wonderful inspiring person. She meant so much to me during my teenage years. May she continue to comfort with all the great memories we all share.....until we all see here again.

Such a beautiful woman with a smile I will never forget,she played such a big part of my life while growing up.God bless the family praying for peace during this time.

She was filled with the love of God and it overflowed with her kindness.She was a blessing to me and my family and she will be missed dearly.Heaven gained an awesome Saint.

I was very sad to hear of Shirley's passing.  She was a very gracious lady and I always enjoyed visiting with her.  She was a model Christian. Even though we lived far away from her, she always treated my wife and family very special when we got to be together.  We are all praying for peace and comfort for all of Shirley's family during this time.

Sis Shirley was a beautiful lady inside and out.  She was a Godly woman and radiated her Savior.

I have many great memories of  their ministry at Jay 1st A/G.  The memory that is still brilliant today as it was then is her wonderful smile.  She was always smiling.

In heaven with our moms and dads worshiping Christ.

She is home.

This is one of the gentlest, kindest souls I ever had the privilege to know.  I'll always remember that beautiful smile.  God bless you Brother Wetzel, Mike and Tim.  We'll see her again real soon.

Remembering all the special times we shared when we were members of "Courts of Praise." I remember one night when she said she heard the Lord say "He was going to give the devil some knockout blows," and she was so excited. She prayed for me that night because I had been having some pain with my gall bladder. I never had another pain after she prayed for me that night. It has been over 15 years now, and I am healed.
