Steven moved to Pensacola, Florida in August of 1975 from Great Lakes, Illinois. After moving around as a NAVY Brat he decided to settle in Pensacola where he was self-employed. Steven worked in construction, specializing in Stucco for over thirty-five years. He was an all-around handyman and there was nothing he couldn’t fix.
Steven served this grateful nation by enlisting with the United States NAVY. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. Steven enjoyed life and never wasted the opportunity to live it to the fullest. He never met a stranger. A stranger was simply a friend he had never met.
Steven was preceded in death by his father; Michael Arthur Brown, Paternal Grandparents: Arthur Harrison and Irene Dockery Brown, and his Maternal Grandparents; Robert Merrill and Pearl DeBarge Bush.
Left to cherish Steven’s memories will be his mother; Kathleen Brown, his four children: Jenifer Villegas and husband Julio, Private First Class Jeremy Brown, Kyle Brown and wife Britney, Alexandria Brown and fiancé Joshua Layton, three sisters: Susan Smith, Ginger Kranick, Melissa Saraceno, eight grandchildren: Selena, Liliana, Natalie, Zoe, Isabel, JC, Dez, Miguel, along with many extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
