Family will be hosting a reception on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00pm, with burial following in Bayview Memorial Park.
Tim grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and graduated from South Broward High School in 1969. In 1974 he received a BS in marketing from the University of Florida and was an avid Gator fan. He moved to Northwest FL, where he eventually retired in Pensacola from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency of the DOD after 10 years of service. Tim attended St. Mark’s Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Hazel Garrett.
He is survived by his NGA work family of St. Louis, MO; a host of special friends including Jane Wilkinson and E. “Obie” Oberlin; two aunts, Betty Ray and Gwen Thompson and numerous cousins.
