Tracy Dee Butler May 9th, 1965- April 22nd, 2021

It is heavy in our hearts that we announce the passing of Tracy Butler, a resident of Pensacola, Florida. Tracy was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, IA to Nancy (John) Wade and Wayne Kloos. She is survived by her husband of twenty-four years Mark Butler, and two daughters Lindsay Dietrich and Ali Butler; her sisters, Linda Stephenson, Stephanie (Chad) Dahms, and her brother Devlin Kloos her step siblings Charles Moyle, and Tianna (John) Saldivar. She is preceded in death by her sister Rebecca Dodson. Tracy grew up laughing and spending time with her best friend and sister Rebecca Dodson. She enjoyed swimming and sunbathing as she grew up. In school Tracy became an avid typist, even stumbling into the career of a Medical Transcriptionist after college. She spent most of her free time cooking, watching true crime and the Food Network channel while relaxing with a glass of champagne. She loved her family, friends, and Hawaii, specifically Maui. Anyone who had the chance, enjoyed her Zuppa Toscana soup and red-wine sauce over pork chops or chicken. Tracy was a kind woman with a gentle heart. She will always be remembered and held close within our hearts, and there she remains to walk and guide us through the days for the rest of our lives.

You are missed Tracy. I was lucky enough to have her wine pork chops. Yummy! We met when Mark and the family moved to Florida. Hubby is from WI and myself South Dakota. Ya know, us Yankees have to stick together in the South.

I remember meeting Tracy in 2015 when my daughter got married .Her and Rebecca drove all the way to Iowa to be hear that meant the world to me. Tracy and Rebecca spent the night with me Tracy slept on my air mattress that night and I guess my cat poked a hole in it as she was sleeping the funny part was we had to help her up in the morning cause she was stuck in the middle of it We had the best laugh . Plus she took all the bobby pins out of my hair that night and told me just sit for a while cause it was going to take a long time. lol. I feel blessed that I got to meet her.
