Valerie Marie Weaver

With deep love and profound sorrow, our family announces the passing of Valerie Weaver, who left this world peacefully on September 6, 2026. Born on January 26, 1985, Valerie lived a life marked by kindness, resilience, and an unwavering devotion to family, friends and community.

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, she was a daughter of Darla Wicker and Claude Mayfield Jr. She served in the US. Army and graduated from Virgina College with a degree in business.

She enjoyed crafting with her daughter, traveling and spending time with family and friends. We hold close to the pride we feel in Varie’s service that will forever remain in our hearts. She will be remembered for her unwavering strength, love of adventure and her loving heart.

She is survived by her three children; Tanner Nielson, Dillan Nielson, and Ella Weaver.

Her presence brought comfort, her words brought wisdom, and her heart brought a sense of home wherever they went.

A Military service honoring Valerie will be held at Fort Barrancas cemetery, Pensacola, FL on September 11th, 2026 – 9:00am.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to “Valerie’s House of Northwest Florida” a lifelong commitment to helping others.
