Grace V. Watkins, age 96, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Wednesday July 31, 2019 peacefully at home. Grace was born October 8, 1922 in Atlanta, Georgia. She moved to Pensacola, Florida in 1961 from Corpus Christi, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her loving Navy husband, Thomas Van Watkins.
Grace leaves behind one daughter, Carole Watkins Jewett.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by her interment at Barrancas National Cemetery at 12:00 p.m., where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Thomas Van Watkins.
