1921 - 2011
Vitana McIntosh Hartley passed away peacefully on August 25, 2011. Mrs. Hartley was born on November 11, 1921 in Graceville, Florida. After graduating from high school, she met and married her husband, Rex Vernon Hartley. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend to many. She retired from Solutia and was a member of Warrington Baptist Church and in recent years, a member of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex, and her two daughters, Sharon Rowland, and Shirley Jensen.
She is survived by her son, Bert Hartley; her son-in-law, Chris Jensen, Sr.,; and grandchildren Chris Jensen, Jr., Scott Rowland, Jennifer Bullock, and Jeffrey Hartley.
A memorial service will be held at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel on Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at 2:00 PM. A memorial visitation will be held before the service at 1:00PM
