Chief Walter Arthur Wilson, Jr., USN (Ret.), 66, of Pensacola, died Sunday, August 20, 2017 in Mobile, Alabama.
He was born December 18, 1950 in Dumont, New Jersey to Walter A. Wilson, Sr. and Gladys Helm Wilson. He retired from the U. S. Navy after twenty-one years of service. He received his Bachelor of Business Degree Summa Cum Laude. Chief Wilson moved to Pensacola with his wife, four years ago from Ft. Lauderdale. He was a member of Liberty Church where he was very active and was a member of Yahweh’s Favorites there.
Chief Wilson is survived by his wife, Linda E. Wilson; son, Travis C. Wilson and wife, Kiersten; grandchildren, Dylan and Robert; and brother, Jeff Wilson.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Liberty Church, 2221 S. Blue Angel Parkway.
