It still doesn't feel real. I miss you so much Billy. 

We just found out that my cousin Billy had passed last year. Last time we saw Billy at at my cousin Brenda's home. He looked good and we talked and laughed about old times while we were there.  It was just before Aunt Vera passed. Our condolences go out to my cousin Billy's  wife and children.  Always, loved you cousin, even though we never talked a lot. I remember the good times at Fort Fisher, Kure Beach NC and at the house in Pine Valley, Wilmington NC, when I found out my dad Samuel L Aman Sr. had passed. I appreciate your talking with me and memories of us all. 

With sincere apologies I offer this late tribute to my dear friend Bill;  I can hear your voice now in my memories and you are dearly missed.

To his family,  it was never my intent to miss his Service October 12 and I sincerely apologize to his family for missing that very special day.

It was my privilege to be "the lucky one" to meet Bill and have the opportunity to work with him as he first joined me working for Andritz Automation in the Pensacola, FL Office.  By title, on paper, I was the original manager to that venture office and he was the "second soul" to join me in trying to launch the entrepreneurial new branch office in Pensacola, FL.  Throwing titles out the window, Bill was my friend and I had tremendous respect for him: I collaborated with him as a peer, laughed at his humor, and I thought him a mentor to me in many more ways than I to him.  We shared common ground as dads who dearly loved our kids, and equally commiserated in trying to navigate the demands the world put on us to bear.  Bill was top notch as an engineer, but more that that, was a soul that would give me the shirt off his back if I had asked.  From my perspective, he dearly loved all his kids with a dedication like no other.

Not only as his sacrifices as father, but with this, Bill was my Hero by example: I was humbled to be in his presence for the time I was given.

I will never forget the day he came to work & was apologizing of a few minutes late,  but then went on to say why.   Upon driving in, in pouring rain, he came past a homeless man at an intersection.  Bill didn't judge or condemn; he simply pulled over, reached in his car, gave the man his umbrella along with a substantial sum of cash and encouraged he get some hot food, new clothes, a good nights sleep in a hotel, and, some hope a brighter future.  He brought the man to tears & said "that was me once".  I was humbled.

Bill Aman; a true servant.  Thank you Bill for your constant example of love.  I wont forget you.

To my Loving brother Billy, you left us before your time. You will be truly missed and always in my heart. Wit and charm attracted people your way and you were loved by everyone who's life you touched. We used to do everything together growing up and you protected me. You watched out for me to make sure no harm came my way, after all I was your little sister. We were in cub scouts together and played football in the neighborhoods we lived in. We were even on the same baseball team. I will cherish my memories of you. May the Lord surround you with loving comfort. Love you Billy

Billy was my partner’s brother and even though we never met, we spoke to each other over the phone many times over the years. He felt more like a brother to me than a brother in law. I felt a very deep connection with Billy  and I will always Love him. He had a great sense of humour and when he phoned he wanted to speak to me as he loved my English accent and we would have good laughs together. Rest In Peace My Brother You will always have a place in my heart ♥️ ♥️♥️

He was called William by some, Bill by others. He was Daddy to his children,  uncle to his nieces and nephews.  He was son to his mother and father.  He was brother to me, Billy was one of the most intelligent people I knew.  He had a warped sense of humor and always had me laughing.  He loved his children and family. He will be missed by all of us who had the honor of having him their lives.  Rest in peace my Brother, you are always in my heart. 

I am so very saddened by William’s death! I only met him once but he left an impact on my life.  He had a good heart. To his family and friends and colleagues, my heart goes out to you; most especially his youngest daughter and sweet Oliver! Rest In Peace William. You will be missed and remembered.

I met Bill when he and Becky moved in next door almost 8 yrs ago.  They had a newborn named Lily, 2 sons, William and Mathew, an older daughter,  Hanna. Since then, his oldest daughter, Kelly, and Sam moved in and then came Oliver. Bill was a very hard working man who loved his kids, and  the love for him was obvious when ever he was home.  He worked very hard to care for his family.  He was very talented, a wiz at anything electrical. He and i became close friends and tackled several projects together over the years. He was so nice and caring, always eager to help and with a smile.  Always aware of his kids.  He was a great father.  He was a man that anyone could look up too. Im going to miss our talks, projects and the kindness. I spoke with him the day before his passing and my heart broke when i was told what happened.  This should not have happened!  My heart goes out to the family, especially Lily and his new grandson, Oliver.  Bills love will always be with you.  Another kind soul taken from this world.  Peace be with you my friend!

Bill wast the absolute best neighbor anyone could ever have!  Bill loved his children and was an amazing man who could fix absolutely anything!  He always had a kind word and sympathetic shoulder to listen with!  My heart breaks when Bill isn’t working outside or sharing time with his many children.  He will be thought of very often when I walk outside and  he isn’t there to say good morning and share a kind word with me in the ironing. They will never make another as great s this brilliant kind giving man!  REST IN PUECE MY FRIEND!  Lisa Deyesso. The truth will prevail.  YOU ARE MISSED!

My brother Doug and I met Bill and his sister Judy in Newfoundland, Canada in 1981. We attended the same school and became fast friends. What struck me about them both was how friendly they both were to us.  I guess we were all strangers in a strange land.  Although we haven’t  been in touch over the years, I still thought about them and wondered how their lives unfolded. So I’m just heartbroken that I couldn’t talk to Bill before his passing.  I hope to speak with Judy soon and I’m saying prayers for all of Bill’s friends and family.
