William was born and raised in Summerville, South Carolina where he attended Summerville Catholic School and Summerville High School. William enjoyed competing in all sports especially bowling, shooting pool, basketball, baseball, soccer, track and field and cross country.
True to his lifelong Gamecock affinity, he studied Sport and Entertainment Management at the University of South Carolina and put his knowledge to good use while assisting the South Carolina Stingrays during their championship season.
William, with his contagious smile and personality, has left an empty space in the hearts of his mother Deborah Gilmore Rella, his twin brother Michael, his sister Jennifer Frasier, his grandfather William J. Gilmore, his nieces, Amber, Skyler and Brianna and numerous aunts and uncles.
He has left us too early but now is without sadness and pain in the loving arms of our heavenly Father, and his own father, Michael who preceded him to the glory of heaven.
