Scott was born on March 10, 1959 in Pensacola, Florida. During his 65 years on this side of heaven, Scott was a loving son to Bill and Sally Stanford, husband to Cynthia Stanford and father to Meghan Stanford. His loss is felt profoundly among those who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life service for Florida-based family and friends will be held at First Baptist Church of Gulf Breeze (555 Fairpoint Dr, Gulf Breeze, FL 32561) on Saturday, June 1 at 11:00am. A brief visitation will take place prior to the celebration starting at 10:00am.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, June 15 at 10:30am at Hermitage United Methodist Church (205 Belinda Dr, Hermitage, TN 37076) followed by a final interment at 12:00pm at Hermitage Memorial Gardens (535 Shute Ln. Old Hickory, TN 37138). The family welcomes all family and friends to attend this service and reception to follow.
