Adeline Louise Holm

Adeline was born on April 5, 1922 in Peoria, IL to the late Anson S. and Caroline F. (Mueller) Monroe.

She married Ralph F. Holm on October 4, 1941 in Peoria, IL. After they married, she was a homemaker and raised her children. They spent 62 years together until his passing on March 3, 2004.

Adeline was known to always be in good spirits. She loved to go shopping for cars and Ralph would get her the one she wanted. She enjoyed eating her jelly belly candies.

She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, now St. Ann's Catholic Church.

Adeline is survived by her children, Jerome (Alma) Holm, Rebecca Saurs, and Steven (Jeffrey Coates) Holm; her grandchildren, Jamie (Troy) Schimmelpfenning, Brian (Elizabeth) Morris, Jason (Sara) Morris, and Benjamin (Melanie) Holm; her great grandchildren, Max (Annie) Schimmelpfenning, James Morris, Levi Morris, and Adeline Morris; several nieces and nephews; and her furbabies, Coco and Chazz.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph; her sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Girdzus, Rachel Girdzus, and Josephine Monroe; her brother, Robert Monroe; and her son-in-law, Bruce Saurs.

A Private Funeral Service will be held. Committal will be at Resurrection Mausoleum and Cemetery in Peoria, IL.
