Amineh was born November 9, 1929 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil the daughter of Amin & Salwa El-Darazi. She married Emile Ghantous in Lebanon on July 24, 1948. He survives.
Also surviving are her three children, Hassib (Helene), Waheeb (Roula), Vickie (Naim) all of Peoria; thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one brother Fouzi El-Darazi of Chicago; one sister Victoria Ghantous of Lebanon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a son and one daughter.
Amineh loved spending time her family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling, sewing and cooking for her family.
She was a member of St. Elias Church.
Funeral Services will be 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday February 22, 2012 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home. Father Habib Ghantous officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to time of services.
Entombment will be at the Park View Cemetery Mausoleum.
Memorials may be made to St. Elias Church.
