Andrea Kay Pendleton

Born January 4, 1944 in Artesia, CA to William and Marjorie Bowden; she married Ned Pendleton on June 6, 1964 in Peoria Heights and he survives.

Also surviving are her mother, Marjorie Bowden of Alta; children, Todd (Michelle) Pendleton of Sparland and Rhonda (Larry) Haslett of Peoria; grandchildren, Brett and Megan Haslett, both of Peoria; sisters, Janet Bowden of Bartonville, Margie (Charles) Horn of Alta and Kathy Bowden of Peoria; and her brother, William Bowden Jr.

Preceding in death were her sisters, Judy Carter and Nancy Brown and brother, David Bowden.

Andrea was the administrative assistant for Richwoods Township retiring in 2013 after 28 years. She was elected to 4 terms as a Trustee for the Village of Peoria Heights. She was also a founding member of the Peoples Party of Peoria Heights.

Andrea was a true servant of the public, both through her work with Richwoods Township and in her position as Trustee.

She attended Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria.

She will be remembered for the love she gave her family and the complete joy she took in her grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm Sunday, July 31, 2016 at the Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Monday, August 1st at Grace Presbyterian Church with additional visitation one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Entombment will be at American Mausoleum.

Memorials are suggested to National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, Illinois Cancer Care, or Grace Presbyterian Church.
