Angie C. Benac

Angie C. Benac, 58, of Peoria IL, passed away Saturday June 27, 2015 at 2:45 pm at Unity Point Methodist Hospital. Angie was born in Tulare, California on November 30, 1956 to Calton and Wilma (Boren) Mings. She moved to Peoria Illinois in 1974. She married Greg Benac on October 14, 1988, in Peoria.

Angie is survived by her loving family that include her husband Greg, her children, Brandie (Michael) Jones of East Peoria, Justin Younglove of Peoria, Amber (Jorge) Orozco of Peoria, Travis (Nicole Panus) Benac of Bartonville, and her stepdaughter Heather (Jason) (Dalton) Cross of Royalton, IL, her grandchildren Jacob, Breanna, Michael, Avaya, Alex, Lydia, Elizabeth, Karleigh, and Bailey and her siblings, Carl Mings, Joe Mings, and Candy Tolifson.

She was preceded in death by both parents, her brother Danny, and sister, Sandy.

Angie loved her family more than anything thing else, and enjoyed being a homemaker. She also enjoyed spending time in her garden, listening to music and caring for her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

Cremation rites have been accorded and the family will be having a private celebration of life at a later date.

Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel will be in charge of arrangements.
