February 28, 1929 in Thompsonville, a daughter of Amos and Beulah Summers.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Anna is survived by her close friends, Sheryl and Richard Cordts, and their children, Samuel Cordts, Lucy and Kelcy Wilburn Cordts.
She worked as a telephone operator for Illinois Bell for 30 years, retiring in 1978.
Anna was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington.
Anna enjoyed traveling in her younger days, was an avid reader, loved to cook and to watch cooking shows.
She spent the last 13 years living at Supportive Living in Washington, having many dear friends there. She loved all of her caregivers, and they loved her. She was very appreciative of her Transitions Hospice team. They and her caregivers at Supportive Living helped her to remain at peace in her final days.
Anna’s graveside service will be at 9:00 am Monday, June 6, 2022 at Parkview
Cemetery in Peoria. Deacon Paul Neakrase will officiate. Service arrangements
have been entrusted to the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria.
