Anna was born June 11, 1918 in Peoria, the daughter of Karl and Anna Kirchner Hafele. She married John Zick in Peoria on February 20, 1937. He preceded her in death in 1992.
She is survived by her son-in-law, Ronald Johnson of Peoria; three grandchildren, Ronald (Anita) Johnson Jr. of Peoria, Suzanne Lynn (Joel) Rickey of El Paso, and Scott (Diana) Johnson of Peoria; eleven great-grandchildren, and fifteen great-great-grandchildren.
Anna was also preceded in death by one daughter, Marilyn Zick Johnson, one granddaughter, Lori Ann Drake, and three brothers.
She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015. Father Terry Cassidy will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in West Peoria.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
