

She was born on December 3, 1926, in Leipzig Germany. She was the daughter of Willy and Minna Fritzsche. She endured the challenges of WWII and had several close calls but survived and met the love of her life in 1956 and they were married on September 5, 1957, in Ulm Germany. In 1959 they moved to the United States and was stationed at Fort Riley Kansas. John was a 1st Lieutenant in the US Army, and it was there that their oldest son John Patrick was born on March 31, 1959. When he ended his career in the army they moved to Chicago, and it was there that their son Michael Raymond was born on August 15, 1960. They moved to Peoria in 1962 and lived there until moving to Orlando Fl. in 1992. Anneliese was very proud to become a US Citizen in 1967.
In Peoria and Orlando, they had many friends and enjoyed hosting parties and having family and friends come to visit. Anneliese loved to play cards and continued to beat everyone until the day she passed. For those that knew her she had a card winning percentage of over 90%. She was so sharp and fun to be with even though she was beating you!! She truly loved her friends and family and was blessed with children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who just adored her.
Her son Michael married Traci (DeSollar, Morton) and they have 2 children, Kaylee (Heine), and Matt Egan. Kaylee is married to Bernie Heine and they have 2 children , Eliana and Mason and reside near Chicago. They all called her “Oma”. Eliana and Mason loved seeing their “Oma” and she was always very excited to see them. Matt was recently married to Lizzie (Roecker) and they reside in Peoria. Anneliese’s other son John is married to Lynne (Biggins, Peoria.) They have 2 sons, Charles (CJ) and Kyle. CJ is married to Jordan and they have a son Grayson (2.5 yrs) and a daughter Hallie (2 months). They live in San Diego and Kyle lives in San Francisco.
Anneliese enjoyed her job at Franklin school but the thing she treasured the most was being a great wife, mom, grandma and great grandma. She cherished her many friendships and will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A celebration of her life will be held on September 26, 2025 from 10:00 - 11:00 am, with the funeral to follow at 11:00 am at Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home, followed by lunch at Olympia Restaurant.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a burial of her cremains along with her husband’s cremains will be later this year.
