Arlene Frances Cemenska, 89 of Chillicothe, formerly of Peoria passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at Heritage Healthcare in Chillicothe. Born April 2, 1926 to Nels R. and Freda M. (Nelson) Pearson; she married Joseph Cemenska on March 30, 1950 in Peoria and he preceded her in death. Also preceding in death were her son, Richard Cemenska, sister, Irene Townsend and 4 brothers Art, Leland, Willard and Ivan. Surviving are her children, Carol (Stephen) Walker of Placitas, NM, Marci (Suresh) Sundaram of Lexington, MA, and Charles Cemenska of Mackinaw; daughter-in-law, Pam Cemenska of Edelstein; brother, Vernon Pearson of La Jolla, CA; grandchildren, Tresa and Trenton Walker, Nathan, Joshua, and Brian Cemenska and Kavita Sundaram; and great grandchildren, Harper, Austin, Delila, and London. Arlene was a homemaker and a member of the Rural Peoria County Council on Aging and the Foresters. The funeral service for Arlene will be at 10:30 am Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Burial will follow at Swan Lake Memory Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorials are suggested to the Activity Center at Heritage Healthcare.
