I met Audrey on a radio station trip to Mexico and only saw her a few times after the trip. Always lots of laughs and smiles on our meetings. So very sorry to hear about this. May she rest in peace

My sincere condolences to the family. I grew up down the road from Audrey on Meadow  Ave. Later in life she worked at the dance studio where our daughter took dance lessons. Such a good person!

To Audrey's Family, 
We are so very sorry for the passing of Audrey. We will never forget her and how nice she was to us. Of course, I've known her my whole life, and she's always been the life of the gathering wherever it was. I also had the privilege of working with her for the years I was with the bank. Among my many responsibilities, one was fulfilling supplies of all the twenty something branches, and I talked with her often to help her fulfill those needs at her branch. We often had many happy conversations when we talked on the phone including talking about our families. and she always made my day. 
Please know how very sad we are about her passing, but we know that she is with God in heaven and living for eternity. We love you all very much. Since we are in Alabama, we will not be able to make the funeral but please know our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this most difficult time.

We are so sorry about Audrey’s passing. But we won’t be able to attend because of the flu. Please take care and keep well.

We both became friends with Audrey at MCB. Just like so many others have commented about the Audrey laugh, we loved to hear it. Our Maggie couldn’t wait to see Audrey in the drive -up, she always knew that she would get a treat. We always knew what the other was doing for the weekend, she cared about others. We were made to feel that we were more than just a customer. There was always something to share about Greek food/recipes or wine. We miss Audrey each time going into the drive up. Darn it, this isn’t the way life should be. So very sorry for your loss.

Audrey was such a bright light in this world. Her impact on my life can never be overstated. For years, I was with her weekly.. from school, to dance, to church, to Girl Scouts. While Mesia and I did everything together… Audrey was there  being a second mom to me. I’m so grateful to have not only known her but to have learned from her. She  not only taught me how to dance but she taught me how enjoy life… from her infectious laugh to the way she never seemed to let anything bother her too much . Life was her party. Cheers to you Audrey, I know you are keeping the party going in heaven.

Audrey was one of the truly best! That laugh of hers could warm you from a mile away. God knows she did incredible on taking care of Big Jerry, Skylar, and Mesia as we know that was a full time job in itself. The Reeds have been a second family to me over my life and i am forever grateful for that. Love to you all and keep your head up just as momma would want!

Miss Audrey was one of my dance teachers for the many years I danced at Debby’s. She was always so fun, warm, and kind. She made every student feel seen and loved. God bless you, Miss Audrey.

I don't know where to start with this lady. I could write a book about the great times  shared with this close friend of 40+ years. The pictures are from a hotel room in St. Louis where Audrey & JR surprised me for my birthday. She was always there for the best of times; that infectious smile and annoying laugh. Oh how I yearn to hear again.

I first met Audrey in 1981, over forty-three years ago, when Jerry started bringing her to the Two Bros. Softball games. I knew then that she was a keeper, and her and Jerry were like two peas in a pod. It wasn’t long before one of the players , Lefty, coined her with a nickname, The “Big A”, and that’s what I’ve called her ever since. Didn’t take long for her to fit right in with all the players and their wives and the frequent visits to the Tavern after games. She was always the center attraction of the Greek Days also, manning the kitchen but having time to work the crowd with hugs and laughter (I’ll never forget that laugh), but never spilling a drop of her Busch Light. It’s hard to believe that she is gone, but she will never be forgotten. I’m going to miss you immensely, A, but I’m sure that we’ll meet again soon.

Audrey and her family were the first to welcome us to the Neighborhood.  Our families have remained close friends.  Audrey had  always been there for us.  We loved her personality, and that special laugh that you could hear all over the neighborhood. When we heard her laugh “we would say that’s Audrey”!  We loved her and truly miss her!  She was definitely the “Light of WestAire”.

I feel very honored to have known Audrey, she was someone I always looked forward to being with.  Through the years we shared stories of our hopes and dreams for our children, being working moms and many laughs! The laughs were so contagious and she always put a smile on my face. My whole family, husband & 3 grown children are GRIEVING the loss of Audrey our favorite teller at MCB. She was always laughing, joking with us and very interested in our lives. I made many Cowboys masks (during Covid) & silky blankies for her grandkids and nieces & nephews. She always had a theme she wanted to do, and designed it just for that person. I recently bought her old sewing machine right when she retired. She was so happy I was going to put it to use & said “you’ll hear from me soon- I’ve got another grandchild coming and I’ll let you know what I want for the silky!! “ I’m so sad for your whole family!! As my dance teacher, she encouraged me to push myself and give my best. When I grew older and had the privilege of teaching alongside her, our relationship grew. It was during this time that I got to see another side of Audrey—a fun-loving person whose laugh was infectious!
Audrey was more than a dance teacher; she touched the lives of so many! Her passing leaves a void that can never truly be filled, but she will forever remain in our hearts. I will always carry with me the lessons she taught and the memories we shared. Audrey was truly one of a kind and will be missed.

Jimmy and I are so sorry for the sudden loss of Audrey. We will miss her infectious laugh and warm heart. We sure had some good times over the years. We will continue to keep everyone in your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Audrey’s laugh is one of the most memorable things about her. One of my favorite things on the planet was getting Aud cackling, then her feeding into it and dishing it right back. One of the best sounds in the history of hearing.

I’m also so appreciative of what she taught me, particularly as a teacher. She had high standards when it came to teaching at the studio, and she wasn’t afraid to let you know if you were slacking.  Looking back as an adult now, I realize how much she cared not only about the students we taught, but our performance as teachers too. She cared so  much and knew how much everyone was capable of. I like to think a lot of us from the studio get our work ethic and confidence from her.

Audrey, to me was as if we mirrored each other. We would compare notes and try to learn from our life circumstances.  Since we were so similar, i thought we were the same age! I am sure she just laughed at that😁

As with most people that knew Audrey, her laugh is what I'll always remember.   I moved out of the neighborhood over 20 years ago but whenever I had a chance to return for the "Greek Fest" Audrey and Jerry made it feel like I never left.   She will be greatly missed by all her neighbors and friends.  RIP Audrey

Each year, Audrey and Jerry would host The Reed Open, allowing us high school friends to gather from far and wide for a weekend of golf and fun. Her hard work made it all possible, and she even pretended to laugh at our same old stories year after year. Thanks for everything Audrey....we will all miss you greatly..

Audrey always met me at the drive through bank with a smile and "Where is Stella?" Stella is my dog that loved Audrey. Stella would stretch out the window to be closer to Audrey and Audrey would shower Stella with love and treats. Stella will continue to look for her every time we go to the bank. My dad was in the Navy and we were stationed here in 1962. We lived in Moore's Motel on Meadow Ave for a short time until my parents found a house for us. Audrey was one of the 1st kids our age that we met when we moved here. We went through school together. Audrey also taught 2 of my grand-daughters dance at Debby's. So very sorry for your loss and prayers for her family.
