Barbara Louise Brunner

Barbara Louise Brunner, 90, of Peoria passed away on December 22, 2022 with her family at her side at Proctor Place. She was born on July 26, 1932 in Macomb to Don and Sarah (Marshall) Atwater. She married Harry Brunner on April 19, 1984. He survives.

She is also survived by her daughters, Deb (Greg) Duley and grandson, Nick of Lafayette, Indiana and Diana (Brad) Barrett of Elmwood; three step-daughters, Kelly Stillwell and grandsons, Grant and Morgan of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Lindsay (Chris) Howerton and granddaughters, Hannah and Chloe of Elmwood and Karen Gilles of Austin, Texas; and sisters, Patricia Johnson of Knoxville and Charlene Wolschlag of Sun City, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Ralph Fairburn.

Barbara enjoyed time with her family foremost. She did excellent cross-stitch and enjoyed traveling. She liked spending time with friends. Barbara always lit up the room with her sweet smile.

Barbara’s funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. John McKinty will officiate. Her visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. also on Thursday at the funeral chapel. Burial will follow in Parkview Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
