My thoughts and prayers are with Barry's family tonight. I have known members of this loving family most of my adult life and I consider myself a close family friend. It saddens me greatly that Barry has left us and I will miss him very much. I have nothing but, good thoughts and memories that we were able to share together. He was a good friend, brother, father and grandfather. May God give you strength and grant you peace at this very difficult time.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Barry was one of those guys who always had a smile when I went to the garage to have work done on my squad car. He was fun to talk to and always made me laugh. A great guy with a big heart and a love of the open road.

Carol, I’m so sorry for your loss. I worked for the Police Dept. for 29 years and I can’t remember when he wasn’t there.
He was the one guy that would drop what he was doing to help you and I never heard him complain or ever be in a bad mood.
He was a great person and his loss will be felt by many.
