Ben was an amazing friend, like a brother! Anyone lucky enough to peek his interest would have a friend for life. If you were in his life you were in for a real treat, a joker by nature, man of few words but a true comedian. Hard to imagine that the rest of my time here on earth I will not be able to speak with him again! This is a true loss to us ALL! Rest Easy My Friend!

I met Ben when I started 3rd shift at caterpillar he was very friendly and had a really good heart. Walking right up to me to introduce himself. He was Always there when you needed him . He would lend a helping hand no matter what or where it was. I’ll remember you for the songs you either played or gave me to listen to that made me smile and the fun times we had as a team on 3rd. It won’t be the same without you ,but I will always play a song for you on 3rd. Thanks for being such a great coworker and friend. To your family I pray you find peace and that god gives you strength in this hour.

I worked with Ben on 3rd shift in formed seals. There was a handful of us who worked together so we got to know each other very well. I always enjoyed hearing Ben's music and the stories he would tell about all of the concerts he had been to. I enjoyed his stories about the places he had been and the fascinating facts he had about different things around the world. Ben was definitely intelligent and one of a kind. He had so many wonderful things to say about his home town in Maine. I would have never thought to visit there but I definitely will now thanks to him. Thoughts go out to his family and loved ones.

I am a nurse at Caterpillar. I treated Ben for minor injuries and in doing so I got to be in his presence. I remember him as always smiling and very kind. My prayers are with family and friends of Ben. Sorry for your loss.

In loving memory of a bright guy that worked with me and for me for ten years. We loved to brainstorm on ideas to get drivers educated on transflo, or mobile com or sharing experiences with him doing training in remote terminals. One time, we came up with the idea that Ben should wear a chicken suit at truck stops. His presence has been missed, his dry sense of humor. God speed Ben!
