She was born on August 7, 1938 in Glasford to August and Alice (Crabtree) Geier. She married James Williamson on October 5, 1963. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Stanley (Cyndy) Williamson of Bellevue, NE, Michael (Toni) Williamson of Kerhonkson, NY, and Jacob Williamson of Charlotte, NC; a twin sister, Geraldine Jarrett of Palm Coast, FL; two brothers, Raymond Geier of Canton and Ronald Geier of Williamstown, MO; one granddaughter, Katie Williamson of Bellevue, NE; three step grandchildren, TJ (Amy) Meyers, Heather Meyers, and Nicky (Sara) Meyers; and three step great-grandchildren, all of New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Karl, and a sister Agnes.
Bernadine graduated from Canton High School in 1956 and Graham School of Nursing in 1959. She joined the United States Air Force as a Flight Nurse and served in Morocco. She belonged to the Moroccan Reunion Association. She was an emergency room RN in hospitals in Peoria, Belleville, Granite City, Springfield, and Peoria. She was a Mary Kay Consultant for 35 years. She served as a den mother with the Cub Scouts. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Peoria.
Visitation will be held Wednesday June 30, 2021 from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel, with Rosary beginning at 6:30 PM.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday July 1, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Peoria, with visitation one hour before, beginning at 9:00 AM. Fr. Paul Joseph Langevin will preside. Burial with military honors will be at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
Memorials may be made to Holy Family Church or Farmington Country Manor.
