

She was born May 27, 1934 to Erma and Paul Ardern. She married David Lee Craemer February 26, 1951 in Springfield, IL. He preceded her in death.
Bernice is survived by her four daughters, Karen Reiser (Karen Regan) of Bartonville, Debra (Roy) Farrar of Hornsby, Vickie (John) Randolph and Denise Craemer both of Peoria.
She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, twin brothers who passed away at birth, her aunt Bernice Kinney, her cousins William and Newton Kinney and her son, Paul Craemer.
She was taught how to bowl by her father and became an avid bowler, bowling in several leagues and was captain of the Staples bowling team. Other hobbies included working crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She also crocheted numerous items and afghans for her family and also made clothes for her girls when they were children. She used to sit outside on her porch with her children and sing to them.
Bernice was a member of Memorial Baptist Church and believed in our Lord Jesus Christ. Bernice also taught at Berea Baptist School from 1994 to 1997.
A funeral service will be at 2 pm on Saturday, May 17, 2025 with visitation one hour prior to the service at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Rev. Ken Linder will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Transitions Hospice for the wonderful care they provided to Bernice.
