I was best friends with her son Steve, she treated me like one of the family. I would get Steve for school and she always had some cinnamon toast for me. Take care Betty and tell Steve I said hi.

Always enjoyed spending time with Aunt Betty and Uncle Bob when mom (Mildred) and I would visit in summer. We often stayed with them at their house. She was a wonderful woman and took such great care of Uncle Bob when he got older. I know in the Covid world we can't be there by her side, but I would have traveled to be there to honor her and share stories with everyone from the family. My last trip to Peoria area was for a family reunion many years ago. She lived a wonderful life, 96 years! The things she saw, how amazing to think! God bless her! Our thoughts and prayers to her family. Love Tim & Amy Atkinson, Dallas/Fort Worth TX

For the first 10 years of my life I thought Grandma Betty was my Grandma too, because sometimes Jeff & Jody would bring me over to her home. Why else would she treat me like I was one of hers? She was a caring and loving woman who was full of inclusive hospitality. Of course, it was everyone she treated in this way, I was only a small patch in the quilt of her kindness. (Imagine my sadness when I had learned otherwise) My heart goes out to Jeff and Jody and her entire family...there is now a Grandma Betty sized hole in the world. You are all in my prayers. ❤️🙏🏻❤️
