Betty L Behm
April 26, 1934 – May 12, 2022

Betty L. Behm, age 88, of Peoria, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 3:36 p.m. at her residence.
She was born April 26, 1934 in Peoria to Clarence and Gertrude (Boyer) Oliver. She first married Clyde Ford in 1952 in Peoria, he passed away. She then married Clifford Behm on June 7, 1971 in Peoria. He passed away Aug. 17, 2012 in Morton. She is also preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Marjorie Kneer, and four of Clifford’s children: Clifford “Butch” Behm, Charlotte Brod, Candy Patton and Mike Behm.
Survivors include one daughter, Patty Foraker of Peoria, one son, Glen Ford of Peoria, four loving grandchildren: Stephen Foraker, Richard Foraker, Glen Ford II, Cyle Ford, five great-grandchildren, and seven nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Clifford’s loving children: Alice Fardon, Mary (Larry) Reese, Joe (Cheryl) Behm, Cindy Parks, Frank (Brenda) Behm, Albert (Linda) Behm, Alberta (Pete) Stillsmoking, Albert (Linda) Behm Kathryn Moreland, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Betty retired after working many years at Bel-Wood Nursing Home in Peoria. She enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, cooking, baking, and hanging poolside at Joe and Dawn’s. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
The family would like to give a special thank you for all the care and loving support from the Behm family, Unity Point Methodist Hospice, and her niece Diana Lulay.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 20, 2022 at 2 p .m. at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be two hours prior to the services.
Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
Memorials may be made to Unity Point Methodist Hospice.
