Betty May Ellen Bramlett

Betty May Ellen Bramlett, 91, of Peoria, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at UnityPoint Health - Methodist in Peoria. She was born on April 20, 1931 in Peoria, a daughter of Roy and Celia M. (Nave) Sparks. Betty married John A. Bramlett on August 20, 1960 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on January 7, 1987 in Quincy, Illinois.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and her nephew and former caregiver, Roger Sparks.

Betty is survived by her niece, Katie Diduk of Fort Smith, Arkansas; her adopted niece and caregiver, Sandra Sharp of Peoria; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

She worked for Stone/Lincoln Cleaners in Peoria for many years, retiring in 1981.

Betty was a member of Peoria Nazarene Church. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at Senior World in Peoria, spending time in the outdoors, flowers, and long drives and spending time with her friend, Joanne.

Betty's funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Peoria Nazarene Church. Pastor Mark McCall will officiate. Her visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday also at her church. Burial will take place in Mackinaw Township Cemetery.
