Our condolences go out to all of Burr's family and friends. Burr was a neighbor, classmate, roommate, teammate, groomsman, and friend to us. We didn't keep in frequent contact over the years but I always enjoyed bumping into him at a Husker game most years and came to enjoy the frequent texts during the games.....particularly this past season as Burr, Tom, Mike, and I analyzed the Huskers woes in real time. It was fun. May he rest in peace. Tim & Raedene Lamb

I went to high school with Burr. Ran into him a few times when he was in college, then I think the last time I saw him was at our 20th high school reunion.
Looks like he was still a crazy character, and I do mean character!
So long my friend. May God bless you and may you rest in peace!
My condolences to Burr's family and friends, I'm sure he will be missed.

Our Deepest Sympathy to the family. Receiving the call on Sunday morning that Burr had passed brought more than a few tears to my eyes. Growing up, being the same age and just a few doors down from Burr and the rest of the Glasgow’s. Brought back a flood of great memories. Everything from Burr having a raccoon as a pet, Susie the family dog, to Burr and I raiding the refrigerator and making our favorite sandwich as kids. Simply a slice of white wonder bread and lots of ketchup. Going through High School and College together. Then our working lives took us in different directions. Burr’s to Illinois and mine to California. Staying in touch from time to time and at the occasional Husker game.

Burr say hi to all your family as you meet them on the other side. You’ll be in our thoughts and prayers and missed in this world, by all us friends and family. Mike & Cindy Douglas.

Burr I have so many memories it would be hard to fit them on this site. One that always comes back to me was the first time I met you with Jane and Gus when you moved to Peoria about 34 years ago. You had graduated from college and moved to KC office. and after a couple of years there you were transferred to Peoria.
When I met Gus during the move he smiled and asked me if I would help you get your apartment ready, hang the drapes and make it like home. He also asked me to take care of you since you would be so far from home. My answer of course was "no problem".
We spent many years together and became an unstoppable team. We were one of the best. We enjoyed our jobs and worked for a great company. We made it through good times and hard times, but always on top.
I retired after 37.5 years and now you are gone after 37 years. How strange that seems. After talking to you on your birthday last November you said you were going to keep on going and just expected that would happen.
God had a different plan for you. I am so very sad, but I know that you are with the Lord and your heavenly family. I am sad that you were much too young and still had many other fun experiences before leaving this earth. Your family and friends will miss you, especially your grandchildren who were your pride and joy.
I miss you my friend and I know we will be reunited again in heaven. Until then I will carry on cheering for the Cubs like we did for years from the roof top parties and opening day at Wrigley.
I continue to pray for you and your whole family and ask God to put his white light of protection around them as they take this journey of grief.
You will remain in my thoughts and prayers and forever in my heart.
I send Peace and Love today and every day. Hugs my friend.😥❤😇🙏

Burr I did not realize how hard it was going to be to write some final words to you . I just want you to know what you meant to Michele and I. We cherished your friendship Even though we were miles apart. I know that you're in a better place and I'm sure your family was there to met you when you entered the gates of heaven but it still hurts knowing that you will not be coming back. I loved the fact that even though we did not see each other much but when we did we could talk forever and it was like there was never that lapse in time. Burr you will always be remembered by all of your friends and family you left behind we love you Burr. Brad & Michele
