He was born on September 26, 1946 in Bentley, North Dakota, a son of David Lloyd and Sophie (Maas) Williamson.
He married Judith Ratazak on January 10, 1992 in Rockton, IL. She survives.
He is also survived by two sons, Matthew (Tara) Williamson of Brookville, OH and Joseph(Debra) Williamson of Rockford, IL; grandchildren, Saharra, Makayla and Talon Williamson, Kascey (Chris) Fouk, Rachel (Omar Figueroe) Vasquez, Rosa (Kenneth Frazer) Vasquez, Joseph Vasquez, Tony Vasquez Jr., Jayden Williamson and Kadence Williamson; great-grandchildren, Maddux Fouk, Enrique Ibarra and Sebastian Ibarra, Castiel Figueroe, Kiarra Frazer and Aaron Frazer; brother, Larry (Darlene) Williamson; sister, Peggy Williamson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Chancy is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; nine sisters; and great-grandson, Sawyer Fouk.
Chancy enjoyed his show cars, his 69 Plymouth Road Runner and 73 Dodge Charger and
also attending car shows and swap meets with his family. He was a board member of the Paralyzed Veterans of America, and additionally created the monthly newsletter. He also enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing with his two sons.
Chancy also served in the Army during the Vietnam War as a combat engineer.
To say he was a avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and Minnesota Vikings is an understatement.
