Bishop Charles Hines was beautifully accomplished! He was loved and adored by many. He has left an indelible mark, as such, we will never forget. He has finished his course as a preacher, as a teacher, as a counselor, as a friend, and lastly, he has finished his dedication, devotion, and faithfulness to our Lord. Bishop Hines was gifted with many talents by God, I can only imagine him saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.
Matthew 25:20-21

Family we shall see Bishop Hines again. Until such time comes we must continue to serve the Lord!
Much love,

I believe I speak for ALL Family and Friends and especially your congregation here in St. Louis County, when I  say if our selfish Love could save Bishop Hines; He WOULD LIVE  forever. Charles was an AWESOME preacher and teacher. It was a pleasure working with him in Ministry.
Family...   you like myself probably have a whirlwind of sadness, and even some might have guilt; especially during this difficult season. These emotions are perfectly normal. However, we cannot let these emotions turn us to anything other than the promises of GOD to just simply mask the pain. Instead, when we think of how much you loved  GOD, how much you loved your family and the Ministry of the Church of GOD in pursuit of the Kingdom building. When we think of how much you loved life and you lived life to the fullest; we are encouraged to turn to family, friends, and most importantly  remembering the promises of GOD to help us ALL through this heartbreaking time.  GOD promised that he would be with us to the end of the Age. He said He'd never leave us and neither would he forsake us. He promised he would wipe every tear from our eyes. GOD said He would turn our mourning into dancing......And we believe that Weeping may endure through the night.....But the promise IS that Joy WILL come in the morning.
And the Sun sets upon the life of Bishop Charles Hines....And His body is laid to rest.....We, Your extended Family know that you'll be up in Heaven because GOD only takes the Best. We know you will be watching over us and That itself takes away the pain. We will carry  you in our hearts Charles ......Until we meet again.  Gone and take your much needed rest. You've got a whole new crowd to hang out with now and y'all can preach, teach and make a whole different music.
