Heartfelt condolences go out to Chuck's immediate family while he was a resident at LHV. Congenial guy, he was.

Sally,

I only knew the man over the phone and as my grandmother's long term home aid employer for them, along with my Aunt Amy. My father also recently passed away at the tragic age of 56 so this is familiar ground, unfortunately. The wa,y you described this man and how I heard stories of him, inspires me to hope that one day I could one day be held in only a sliver of the regard you hold for this man, then I would be forever at peace. My thoughts are with you at this time and don't forget about the good times.
-Sincerely

John,
My most sincere and heartfelt condolences. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers during this time. I hope you're able to smile and laugh in the coming days as you recall some of your most endearing, amusing memories and accounts from a life lived as the son, the last living legacy- of Charles B Leber, a quite remarkable, outstanding man.

Charles Leber was an amazing man. He lived a full life. He inspired many he worked with, was a guide and mentor to his children, and grandchildren, and shared over 70 years with the woman he loved.
So many of his choices, and sacrifices, were made out of deep, pure love, of his family.
He truly took care of those around him.

Charles had a presence when he walked into a room. He was respected, yet humble. He could take command of a situation, without being overbearing. He listened, he took everything in very carefully and had a way of coming up with solutions.
He had wonderful stories, was a photographer, an engineer, had a brilliant thinking mind, and a deeply philosophical soul.

Very precise, and practical, Charles Leber had a way of conducting life, with form and structure, yet balancing these things with love and joy, moving through life with grace.

The world has truly lost a gem in his passing, the impact he had on this world is hard to measure, but his presence will always be reverberating in this heart of mine.
