He was born March 3, 1952 in Peoria to Marion and Lulu Belle (Coates) Walker. He married Joyce Berry-Heady on December 21, 1974 in Peoria. She survives along with two children: Donald Walker of Rushville, Tania Walker of Peoria, one grandson, Scott (Tiffany) Lawless II of Morton, one sister, Marian Walker of Washington, IL, and one cousin, Mary Walker of Normal.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Charles was a Shop Foreman for Carver Lumber in Peoria.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services at this time. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
