She was born April 7, 1948 in Springfield, MO to George and Laura Nell (Drybread) Kleier. They preceded her in death, along with her husband, Jim Perdue, her stepfather, Tom Lewis, one sister, Kathy Selberg, and one nephew, Preston Heinz.
Survivors include, G. Don Gurik of Peoria, two daughters: Michelle (Chris) Armbruster of Elmwood, Christine (Clark) Evans of Farmington, six grandchildren: Taylor and Ian Armbruster and Colton, Colby, Ethan and Emma Evans. Also surviving are one sister, Maria (P.J.) Heinz of West Peoria, one nephew, Jai Windish, and two nieces: Kelli McCormick and Jodi Becker.
Charlotte worked for Caterpillar, Inc. for over 30 years retiring in 2009.
Charlotte was a beautiful, hardworking lady with a very generous heart. She donated to many charities and saw that as her way of giving back. She also took great pride in keeping her home extremely tidy and clean. She considered that and gardening to be her favorite hobbies. She and Don enjoyed seeing new places and took many trips together.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice or the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home at 8630 IL Rt. 91, Peoria, IL 61615.
