She was born September 1, 1951 in Peoria to Leo and Rose (Korche) Miklavcic. She married John E. Worrick on May 20, 1972 at the former St. John Catholic Church in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are her daughter, Jodi Heid of Peoria; two grandchildren, Karlie Heid and Branden Heid, both of Peoria; two brothers, Bob Miklavcic of Bartonville and Richard Miklavcic of West Peoria; and her cousin, Leroy Balest and family of Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cheryl worked as a customer service representative at the Bergner’s store in Sheridan Village in Peoria for 15 years.
She loved her grandkids and her dogs, Meishka and Miley. She also loved camping with her family and friends in her new 5th wheel camper.
She was of the Catholic Faith.
Her memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria with the Rev. Stephen Barch officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Cremation will be accorded following the services.
