Chester O Hulett

He was born on December 29, 1939, in Beardstown, IL to the late Vern Lee and Ruth Ann (Ernest) Hulett. He met Mary Jane Ernest and had their daughter, Rebecca.

He worked for Rohn Manufacturing as a Galvanizer for over 40 years.

Chester was a member of UAW Local 1494 and was known as a very hard working man. He had attended Bible Methodist Church in Peoria, IL. He was a generous man who donated to charities often. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting. Chester would watch TV while doing his word searches.

Chester is survived by his daughter, Rebecca (Danny Richards) Dowell; five grandchildren; and his brother, Joel (Lottie) Hulett.

He is preceded by his parents and ten siblings.

A Funeral Service in honor of Chester will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 11:00 am at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria, IL with a Visitation one hour prior. Committal will take place at Parkview Cemetery directly after services.
