He was born June 12, 1930 in Metamora, IL the son of Paul and Louise Speck Osler. He married Zella Graham in Peoria on August 26, 1950.
Clayton is survived by his wife of 66 years; two grandchildren, Angela (Yens) Strubhar-Christianson of Germantown Hills, and Shawn Strubhar of Peoria; five great-grandchildren, Lucas Christianson, Brock Christianson, Payton Christianson, Shawn Strubhar, and Seath Strubhar.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Linda Oliver; two brothers and three sisters.
Clayton was a forklift operator at Caterpillar Inc. for 23 years, retiring in 1994.
Visitation will be Monday, May 1, 2017 from 10:00 -11:00 am at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.
