

Clifford was born in Peoria on July 9, 1921 a son of the late Henry & Mary (Backus) Behm. He married Kathryn Marie Scudder. He later married Betty Ford on June 7, 1971 in Peoria.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years; his children, Alice (Bob)Farden of Pekin, Mary (Larry) Reese of Pekin, Cindy (Marshall) Parks of Norwood, Candy Behm of Peoria, Kathryn (Ray) Moreland of Florida, Alberta ( Pete) Stillsmoking of Hanna City, Patty Foraker of Peoria, Clifford (Sandy) Behm of Peoria, Frank (Brenda) Behm of Peoria, Albert (Linda)Behm of N. Pekin, Joseph (Cheryl)Behm of Peoria, and Glen Ford of Peoria; 43 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Charlotte Brod, one son Mike Behm; five brothers, George, Pete, Albert, Lyle, and Wilbur; two sisters, Dorothy Willis and Bernice Howard.
Clifford worked for Local 63 Plumbers Union for 50 years, retiring in 1974. He played Old League Baseball and was a die- hard Cub fan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He was a wonderful husband and father.
Clifford’s family would like to thank the caring staff at Morton Terrace for his care.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday August 21, 2012 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Pastor Gene Colthurst will officiate. Visitation will be two hours prior to services.
Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
