Cliola R. Bush

Cliola R. Bush of Peoria, Illinois departed this life on Monday, March 29,2021 at Unity Health Methodist Hospital, Peoria. Cliola was born on Wednesday, August 1, 1928, in Driftwood, Arkansas; the daughter of Jim and Sophie (Watkins) Rainey. She later married George Foster Bush. Cliola was proceeded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers, three sisters, one daughter, one son, one grandson, three great granddaughters, and one great grandson. Cliola was a cook for many years at the Pere Marquette Hotel, and last worked for Bradley University. Cliola attended the Jehovah Witness of Pleasant Hill Congregation for many years. Survivors are her two sons, Sylvester E. Bush of Chicago, Illinois, and James (Romana) Bush of St. Paul, Minnesota. Six daughters, M. Ruth Bush, Suzanne Bush, Ruth A. Bush, Delores M. Bush of Peoria, Illinois; Sherrie Jones of Cleveland, Ohio; and Marlene Bush of Chicago, Illinois. One stepson George Bush, Jr., Three stepdaughters, Flo Knighton, Linda Sutton, and Georgeanna Sutton. Thirty-four grandchildren, Sixty-one great grand grandchildren, many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
