Clyde E. Van Antwerp III, age 78, of Elkton, Ky. passed away on January 14, 2021 in Sumner Co, Tn. He was born November 9, 1942 to Clyde E. Van Antwerp Jr. and Marie E. Hansen Van Antwerp in Terre Haute, In. He married Sidney L. Harrison on November 11, 1962 in Peoria, Illinois. She preceded him in death on November 11, 2008. He was also preceded by his parents. He is survived by one son, Kirk William ( Bill ) Van Antwerp and Pam of Tremont, Il. One daughter, Sheri Marie Birdsell and Randy of Cottontown, Tn. Four grandchildren, Nikki ( Zak ) Wolfinger of Hendersonville, Tn, Carly ( Ryan ) Moore of Gallatin, Tn, Tyler and Travis Van Antwerp both of Tremont, Il. Also surviving are two great grandchildren, Bryce and Lexi Moore of Gallatin, Tn.
Clyde was a a graduate of Richwoods High School, ( 1960 ) Peoria, Il. He worked many years for Pabst in Peoria Heights, then transferring to PMP Fermentation in Milwaukee, Wi. After retirement moving to Elkton, Ky. He spent time doing woodworking in his shop, watching football ( Denver Broncos ) and traveling to every National Park in the U.S. He loved to travel out west to the Rocky Mountains and supported his family in anyway he could.
