She was born October 23, 1946 in Peoria to Harry and Elizabeth (Jones) Steinbach. She married Robert Kindilien on December 9, 1967 in Peoria. He passed away February 17, 2015 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Harry Lee Steinbach.
Survivors include one son, Scott (Brenda) Kindilien of Creve Coeur, one daughter, Melissa Kindilien of Peoria, five grandchildren: Josh Preston, Ashley Preston, Travis Preston, Michaela (Jon) Trine, and Marc Kindilien. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren: Adam, Kaley, Isabella, Nyla, Lillianna, Sophia, and Justin.
Constance was a Claims Adjuster of Liberty Mutual retiring in 2012. She was a member of the Mossville United Methodist Church.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Constance’s life will be Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 11 a.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
